Government contract with Semiconductor Plant Construction Company
An agreement was signed today between the Government of Karnataka and the ISMC Analog Fab Pvt.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Home Minister Krishna on behalf of the State Government. And the contract was exchanged in the presence of CM Basavaraja Bommai.
Higher Education and IT-BT Minister Dr CNN Ashwath Narayana, CM General Secretary N Manjunath Prasad, IT BT Director Meena Nagaraja, Israeli Ambassador to India Navar Gilon and Eraj Imbaraman were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai said that the Karnataka government and ISMC Analog Fab Pvt. He said the agreement with the agency would make Karnataka a marker on the world semiconductor map.
The Government of Karnataka has signed this important agreement while various states are competing to attract Semiconductor Fab investments. The Government of Karnataka is aware that it is important not only economic incentives but also to create an enabling environment for overall performance. The country has the best infrastructure and skilled manpower, he said.
Karnataka has been able to continue in the semiconductor sector as it has endorsed the Semiconductor Mission of the Government of India under our favorite Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
